The European press release dated May 7, 2025, confirms immediate availability with UK and euro-area launch prices. The newsroom page header says May 6, but the attached release and its dateline say May 7; the release date follows the dated press release. Other markets may have different on-sale dates. ACCENTUM Open is an open stem option for someone who wants to avoid ear-canal tips and an outer-ear clip. ACCENTUM Clip is the more expensive open-fit alternative in this catalog, using a flexible attachment and offering LDAC; Open lists SBC and AAC instead. Both document Bluetooth multipoint.
Its current support sheet and launch release disagree on playback duration. The specification now gives 6 hours per charge and 24 hours including the case under a stated iPhone condition, versus the launch figures of 6.5 and 28. Use the current table when planning charging breaks, without treating any of these figures as a matched endurance test against another model.
The US store lists $49.95, but every listed color is unavailable at this check. That is a listed store price, not a promise that you can order at it. For wired USB-C listening without earbud charging, CX 80U fills a different role; for a sealed fit with active noise cancellation, look at MOMENTUM True Wireless 5.
Sennheiser lists March 20, 2025 as market placement in its security policy, while the UK launch release announces availability in May. Neither establishes the earliest worldwide on-sale date consistently, so this page leaves that exact date unconfirmed. International availability is confirmed by the checked regional stores.
Black SKU 700430 and Cream SKU 700446 are joined by a pink option, SKU 800090. Sennheiser calls that same SKU Blush in the US and Canada and Sakura in other checked stores. These names do not establish separate hardware versions. Japan lists only Black and Cream. There are no memory or storage tiers. The US $49.95 store listing was unavailable in all colors; the UK launch price was GBP 69.99. Verify local stock and the exact SKU before ordering.
