XCover7 Pro is for work where replacing a depleted battery is more useful than carrying the thinnest phone. Its removable pack, programmable keys, POGO contacts, and microSD slot form a different proposition from the Galaxy S26 family. The trade-off is a 240 g body and 15 W wired charging, rather than a promise of flagship camera hardware.
The 128 GB model is not the whole range. Samsung lists a 6 GB / 128 GB configuration in the US, UK, and Canada, and an 8 GB / 256 GB Enterprise Edition in Greece and Poland. A card can hold files, but it does not turn the lower-RAM phone into the 8 GB model. The regional model and your carrier matter before either capacity choice.
For a mounted work screen, compare the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro: Samsung explicitly documents dual hot swapping and operation without a battery on that tablet. A removable phone battery alone does not establish either feature. For a lighter general-purpose phone with optical zoom, compare Galaxy S26 specifications instead of treating ruggedness as an all-purpose upgrade.
Choose the regional model before storage: SM-G766U1 is the US unlocked model, SM-G766U covers the listed US carriers, SM-G766W is Canadian, and SM-G766B is the recorded international family. Samsung identifies the unlocked US model as U1 even though its retail SKU is SM-G766UZKFN14. The Greece/Poland 256 GB version pairs storage with 8 GB RAM; do not assume that option is sold in the US. The $599.99 figure is the checked US business-store price for 6 GB / 128 GB, not a converted foreign price or a new launch claim.
Covers every recorded configuration.
