The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is Samsung's watch for outdoor and water sports. Its 47 mm titanium case carries 10ATM water resistance, IP69K protection against high-pressure water jets, MIL-STD-810H, and EN13319 certification as a diving instrument, which none of Samsung's other 2026 watches have.
It also has the largest battery and brightest display in Samsung's lineup: 800 mAh, which Samsung says is 35% more than the previous Ultra, and a 1.52-inch sapphire screen rated up to 5,000 nits at localized peaks. Every model includes LTE.
The cost is weight and price. At 61.5 g it weighs nearly twice as much as the Galaxy Watch9, it comes in one size, and it launched at $699.99 in the US. Like the Watch9, it cannot be activated with an iPhone.
There is a single configuration: 47 mm with LTE, 2 GB of memory, and 64 GB of storage, so the only choice is the band and color. If you do not need its dive certification or tougher build, the Galaxy Watch9 offers the same processor, sensors, and software at a lower launch price.
Covers every recorded configuration.
