Samsung confirms availability in Sweden from April 14, 2025, the first manufacturer-confirmed on-sale date. The separate US launch announcement gives an early June 2025 availability window. Samsung Sweden: April 14, 2025 on-sale date for both rugged devices, Samsung UK: specifications, 256 GB 5G model, and No Battery Mode, Samsung Global Newsroom: dual hot swapping and launch specifications, Samsung US Newsroom: announced US availability window, Samsung US business store: current Tab Active5 Pro offers Checked .
Tab Active5 Pro is a work-installation choice, with dual replaceable batteries and an advertised No Battery Mode. Samsung also advertises Dual Hot-Swap, but Notebookcheck reported that removing either pack shut its June 2025 review unit down. The reason for that discrepancy is not established, so uninterrupted replacement needs confirmation on your exact unit.
Against the Galaxy Tab S11, the important distinction is the documented power workflow. Choose this model because your shift or installation needs it, then account for its 680 g Wi-Fi or 683 g cellular weight and 10.2 mm thickness. A rugged rating does not establish that it will survive every drop or that every enterprise application works well on it.
The Galaxy XCover7 Pro is the pocket-sized alternative with a replaceable battery and the same named chipset. Samsung only explicitly documents Dual Hot-Swap and No Battery Mode for this tablet. For an ordinary home or office tablet, compare the Tab S11 family before paying for work features and accessories you will not use.
Choose Wi-Fi for a fixed installation with a reliable network, or verify the local cellular model and carrier before buying 5G. The recorded US schedule lists both 6 GB / 128 GB and 8 GB / 256 GB for SM-X350 and SM-X358U. UK SM-X356B is verified here at 8 GB / 256 GB; the Levant regional listing proves 6 GB / 128 GB without establishing individual country stores. Korea SM-X356N is verified at 6 GB / 128 GB. Include compatible spare packs, a dock or power source, and any device-management licenses in the budget; the $659 starting store price is not an installed-system cost.
Covers every recorded configuration. When a value varies by configuration, the model numbers it applies to are listed under it.
Match the regional model numbers to the confirmed markets below. These countries are verified by official sources; configurations and local stock can differ.
